Predoc curriculum for career planning
The three-semester curriculum for career planning for women researchers "Recognising potential. Developing visions. Shaping the Future. Women in academia plan their careers" is jointly organised by the Gender Equality and Diversity Unit and Human Resources Development.
About the curriculum
The three-semester course helps women researchers to successfully plan and structure their careers. The programme starts out from the existing academic qualifications of the participants and deals with shaping one's professional future. This initiates a process of reflection and action that supports women in planning their careers in a way that is increasingly satisfying for them.
The curriculum consists of four basic modules, three elective seminars, and the formulation and realisation of a career-promoting project that the participants define during the first week of the seminar. The realisation of this career-promoting project is accompanied by continuous coaching.
The programme is exclusively directed towards female academic staff in the predoctoral phase: university assistants, external lecturers and academic project staff.
A total of 12 women can participate per course.
Conditions for participation free of charge:
- Giving lectures and/or conducting research at the University of Vienna for the entire duration of the course
- A written confirmation from your direct superior to be submitted upon registration
